SMILE – A DENTAL IMPLANT MAY BE IN YOUR FUTURE!

Children lose their baby teeth with happy smiles, knowing a visit from the Tooth Fairy awaits them! However, for an adult missing one or more of their teeth there is no happy smile. Sometimes, teeth are absent at birth or teeth can be lost due to accident or sports injuries. More commonly, teeth are lost because of a lifetime of poor dental habits which result in gum disease, infection and decay.

  • Painful, missing teeth can affects the quality of your life.
  • If you have slipping dentures, it’s embarrassing to eat and painful to smile.
  • Perhaps your older crowns or bridges need to be replaced.

At Morris County Dental, we specialize in putting a smile back on your face. We can help you with a more permanent, long-term solution and can give you back a huge part of your life, restore your self-confidence and put your dental worries to rest.

CONSIDER DENTAL IMPLANTS AND RESTORE YOUR SMILE.
Dental implants are the closest thing to your natural teeth.

A dental implant begins with a titanium post (that functions like your tooth root) that is surgically positioned into your jawbone beneath the gum line. The post fuses with your bone and allows the replacement tooth to be mounted. By the time your custom-made crown is placed over the post, it has become a sturdy foundation. Remember: implants can’t come loose like dentures can and they don’t have to be anchored to other teeth like bridges.

ARE IMPLANTS FOR YOU?
You must have healthy gums and adequate bone to support the implant. If your bone is too thin or soft, you may require a bone graft. Dr. Goldberg can tell you everything you need to know and whether or not you would be a good candidate for this procedure.

Dental implants look, function and feel like real teeth, but they do not decay. You must take good care of them, however, by flossing and brushing and visiting Dr. Goldberg regularly.
